The Patuxent web-site provides more general information about this species.
At this time of year, this species is expected to be present on site.

This species was a common year-round resident and summer breeder up until 2002 when West Nile Virus reached the site. Since then it has become an infrequent visitor to the site. On March 20, 2014 a pair of American Crows fly overhead and into the Village with nesting material
