The Patuxent web-site provides more general information about this species.
At this time of year, this species is rare on site.

A rare migrant. Single birds were seen along the southwest side of Lake Law during the first week of September in 1988 and 1993. Another bird was found in the first week of May, 1991 in the scrubby fields east of Receiving Rd. A juvenile was recorded from the hedgerow west of Sea of Evanesance in the last week of September, 1996. Since then it has been a fairly regular Spring migrant. In 2006 a singing male was seen regularly along the sparrow hedge and appeared to be establishing a breeding territory.
