Status: Migrant. Last recorded on site in 2021

At this time of year, this species is unexpected on site.

This species can be seen flying over the lab catching insects, especially during spring and fall migration. Nighthawks are known to nest on rooftops in nearby communities but nesting has not yet been observed on site.
