At this time of year, this species is expected to be present on site.

Occurs as a very common migrant and less common summer breeder in cattail marshes and wet prairie areas. During fall migration this species can be found in large numbers along in the fields and hedgrows south of Lake Law and A.E. Sea. It also winters in small numbers. A nest with two chicks was fonud in the marsh near the end of Giese Rd. (south side) on 061014.
