At this time of year, this species is rare on site.

In 1997 this species was confirmed breeding in the woods between Horseshoe Pond and Swan Lake. This was the first breeding record for this species on the Fermilab site, raising its status from migrant to summer resident. The bird was present again in the same area in 1998.
